Here lies an iconic road, a hillclimb gem that’s back on offer – but we’ll have to wait following the serious rain deluges around the region.
Thank the lord it’s still paved in gravel & not encapsulated in tarmac like many iconic kiwi roads.
Murray Road is approximately 2.0km of gravel road. Initially quite steep and flowing with some tighter more technical corners towards the end finishing with a 90 degree right hand corner.
Let’s hope we can run it later in year.
